Leaving Las Vegas (DVD) $16.44 With LEAVING LAS VEGAS, director Mike Figgis spun critical gold out of what would appear to be a maudlin and hackneyed premise–a down-and-out drunk meets a hooker with a heart of gold. The reason for the film's success lies partly in its refusal to moralize, but mostly it is the strong performances of Nicholas Cage and Elisabeth Shue that make the story believable and poignant. Ben Sanderson (Cage) is a Hollywood screenwriter who has become an alcoholic. After being fired, he takes his severance pay to Las Vegas, where he plans to drink himself to death. There he meets Sera (Shue), a streetwise prostitute who responds both to Ben's wild antics and to his absolute gentleness. What Sera needs most is to be needed, and Ben needs her a lot. Figgis uses his whole bag of tricks–Sera talks to the camera, the exteriors are shot in grainy 16mm–but finally it is the perfectly-conceived relationship between these two wounded people that drew the rave reviews. The film was based on a novel by John O'Brien.DVD Features:Region 1 EncodingSpecial Features: Uncut, Unrated Version Featuring Explicit Footage Not Seen In Theatres, Trivia And Production Notes, Special'Hidden Page' Menu Feature, Original Theatrical Trailer.Keep Case |

Value Menu $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A value menu is a group of items on a fast food restaurant menu that are, in the US, usually priced in the 1.00 to 1.49 range. In nonU.S. markets, a value menu typically has prices set to reflect the approximate value of one U.S. Dollar. The value menu is unique in that the items are usually priced lower than most of the other items on the menu. The portion size or number of included items with the food are usually but not always related to the price. The consumer ultimately decides what to get based on what the menu offers and consumer preference, and the value menu appeals sometimes to those that desire a quick meal without other products such as beverages and other side items that are included in full meals that necessarily increase the overall price. Menu Key $62.13 In computing, the Menu key or Application key is a key found on Microsoft Windowsoriented computer keyboards. It is typically found on the right side of the keyboard between the right Control key and Windows key (or between the right control key and right Alt key). The keys primary function is to launch a context menu with the keyboard rather than with the usual rightmouse button. The keys symbol is a small icon depicting a cursor hovering above a menu. This key was created at the same time as the Windows key. The Menu key can be used when the rightmouse button is not present on a mouse. Some Windows public terminals do not have a Menu key on their keyboard to prevent users from right clicking; however, in many Windows applications, a similar functionality can be invoked with the Shift+F10 keyboard shortcut, or sometimes Ctrl+Shift+F10. Some laptop computers include a Menu function on the Fn key (usually operated by typing Shift+Fn), however, this generally invokes functions built into the vendors software and is not the same as the key described above.
