I’m Bored! $3.95 It’s Sunday afternoon and Charlie’s bored. Then he trips over his teddy bear, who, much to his surprise, responds by shouting, "OW " It turns out that Teddy is bored, too, because Charlie never plays with him anymore. Together they round up the other toys and launch a full-scale attack on boredom, using tubes of paint and kitchen implements as weapons and pot lids as shields. As Charlie and his toys cast boredom out, the blue-gray and white pages begin, bit by bit, to fill with vivid color, capturing the energy of the battle and the mess that ensues. This unique illustration treatment will appeal to young children just learning their colors, and the energetic story will inspire them to approach their old toys with new imagination. |

Zoom and Bored $78.07 Zoom and Bored is a 1957 Warner Bros. cartoon in the Merrie Melodies series featuring Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.Introduction: The pair zooms into view and begin to chase, freezing momentarily for the credits and Latin names to be shown: COYOTE: Famishus Vulgaris and ROAD RUNNER: Birdibus Zippibus. From here, the Road Runner speeds off, leaving the coyote to fall on the ground. Wile recovers quickly, kicks up some dust, and begins to chase the Road Runner. The Road Runner, though, leaves so much dust in the road that his pursuer cannot see where he is going. Eventually, except for his ears, the coyote is completely enclosed in the dust. The Road Runner pulls next to the coyote and beeps, alerting Wile to his surroundings. The coyotes expression becomes foreboding, and the camera cuts out to show both apparently suspended in midair.
